Adding Value
- Offset printing is the best option for high-quality print results and the most economical option for quantities in excess of 2,500 copies. Advantages include perfect register and flawless rerun color match.
- Digital printing is an economical option for projects with quick turn-around times or quantities of less than 2,500 copies. It also allows high levels of personalization.
- To reduce costs and turn-around time, request the JBP house sheet. This high-quality, in-stock paper is priced competitively and purchased in bulk to offer our customers outstanding value.
- Design multiple-page pieces in four-page increments to maximize printing efficiency.
- Save money by designing the piece with a “self cover” as part of a four-page spread, rather than “plus cover.” Specify the same stock on the entire job.
- Use photos that are high resolution for best quality reproduction.
- If using digital printing, select either black & white or go full color. When more than one color is used, the piece is considered “full-color,” so printing costs are the same regardless of the number of colors used.
- On a budget? Saddle-stitch is an economical and professional binding option.
- Full-color to black & white is another budget-friendly alternative.
- Save time and money: request high resolution PDF proofs in place of paper proofs.
- Select an Aqueous coating to act as a protective varnish, add extra shine, and reduce dry time. This can be done all in the same pass as the press runs.
